A New Beginning

This is a late post.

Why?  Because my new beginning was on the 1st of April, 2011.  And it's already.. *looks at watch* the 19th.

Misunderstandings, lack of self-control and wrong decisions made me delete my beloved "gLeefully cLumsy" blog, and because I didn't have any other creative ideas, I decided to name this new blog, "Laugh Out Loud and Smile".

Why, I ask myself?  Well, I frequently use LOL and the symbol =) , and a part of me hopes that this new blog will help me to stay positive, as I aim to only post POSITIVE thoughts and stuff (i. e. pictures, notes, information, etc.)

But let's say I do post something unhappy, or angry...  I hope this will be an outlet for me let out negativity to give way to positivity.

Those who know me before and still know me now, will realise that I have changed a bit.  In terms of appearance (I hope), personality (double hope) and behaviour (triple hope).  The presence of my partner has very much kept me grounded.  When I am bitchy and judgmental for no reason (or for some reason that is illogical), he helps me see that things (or people, in most cases) have another brighter side to them.

For those who don't know yet, I have left Popular and am now an IBMer.  The main reason why I joined IBM would be to have better self-development, which is what IBM as a corporation can offer me in terms of both career-wise and people-wise.

Recently, a best friend of mine, Ralph, asked me, "Is there anything you aim to be?"  Good question.  And I asked myself the same question.  When you were a kid, parents and teachers ask you the same question, and every year, you'd have a different answer.  One year it would be a doctor, the next would be a lawyer, and the year after that it'd be a stewardess, or a supermodel (I wish).  And yet, now, I am none of those.

Well, to answer the question today, I aim to be a better person.  I might not be a theoretical physicist (as Sheldon of "The Big Bang Theory" would say) or a famous celebrity (as Ellen DeGeneres would say) or a wealthy humanitarian (like Oprah!), but I aim to be a better person; for myself, my loved ones, my religion, my colleagues, the creatures of nature and the human beings around me.

Let's each and everyone of us aim to be a better "Me".

=)
